Our Differences

  • Applied Education Model

OSTİM Technical University was established in a major business and financial center that has made significant contributions to Turkey’s industrialization. In order to benefit from this accumulated knowledge, the university places great emphasis on practical education alongside theoretical learning. Starting from the first year, students will receive hands-on training with one applied course each semester, aimed at developing observation, application, innovation, and management skills within a real business environment.

  • Entrepreneurship Scorecard

At its core, the Entrepreneurship Scorecard at OSTİM Technical University is a tracking procedure designed to equip students with an entrepreneurial mindset, skills, and competencies. It enables the evaluation of each student's performance based on predefined or subsequently accepted entrepreneurial activities and provides opportunities for recognition and rewards upon reaching certain milestones.

Students who reach a certain score on the Entrepreneurship Scorecard will be eligible for various supports and rewards provided by our university. These include start-up capital for their proposed design, product, service, or project; business opportunities at OSTİM Technopark; assistance in finding and connecting with business partners; and opportunities for internships abroad.

  • Lessons that Make a Difference

Our department’s curriculum includes courses designed to help students adapt smoothly to university life and support their academic journey with a range of complementary activities. These programs aim to assist students in achieving their goals and contributing to their personal development. They promote active participation, foster intellectual curiosity, cultural sensitivity, and a sense of responsibility, while also nurturing entrepreneurial qualities such as innovation, implementation, commercialization, and company formation. Courses such as Introduction to University Life, Building the Future, and Entrepreneurship Project are part of this framework.
