He completed his undergraduate education in 1995 in Industrial Technology Education. In the following years, he continued his master's education in the same field at Gazi University. He wrote his master's thesis on Computer Application in Static Analysis of Plane Frame System Furniture Elements. He started working in academia as a Research Assistant in 1996 at Gazi University Department of Industrial Technology Education. He completed his master's degree in 1998. He continued his doctorate education in the same field. He addressed the Status, Problems and Solution Suggestions of the Wood Construction Industry in Turkey in his doctorate. He worked as a lecturer in the department of Industrial Technology Education between 2003-2006. Then, while he continued his working life as an assistant professor in the same department, he started to work as a lecturer in the Department of Industrial Design at Gazi University in 2013. He received his associate professorship in 2017. Between 2014-2020, he assumed the director of Application Centers, Earthquake Engineering Application and Research Center. He received his professorship in the department of Industrial Design in 2017. He has been the vice dean of Gazi University's Faculty of Architecture since 2019. His research interests include industrial arts, design studies, wood mechanics and technology, augmented reality, information visualization, and virtual reality. He teaches undergraduate and graduate design and technology courses such as computer modeling and animation, as well as studio courses.
